Description
Tobacco Bag was one of my first paintings, as I started out in oils. An old friend of mine who was Odawa, told me the story of the little people taking their tobacco bags. That was my inspiration. The blue leaves are a metaphor for higher consciousness. And this was my first little people painting. The leaves outstretched symbolize higher consciousness.
